1. Concert Details
Performance: Saturday, October 4th
2:15 PM Arrival (1:45 PM Arrival for Hume musicians only) – meet at the Community Room “entry court”
3:30 PM Performance – reception and group photo following. If you wish to provide refreshments for the reception, please kindly use this link to sign up.
Location: Newport Beach Civic Center – Community Room
100 Civic Center Dr (just off Avocado Ave), Newport Beach, CA 92660
You may drop your cellist off at the Community Room “entry court” to your right as you pull into the Civic Center driveway, then continue to follow the drive directly into the (free) parking structure. Solo cellists may also pause at the entry court to unload, traffic permitting.
Concert guests: The venue has plenty of room for guests and is located next to the Newport Beach Public library, sculpture garden, and Corona del Mar Plaza.

3. Rehearsal Details
Rehearsal #2 for cello choir is on Saturday, September 20th, 2025, from 4-5pm (Hume musicians only from 5-5:20pm). at Pine Tree Park, 1402 Bryan Ave., Tustin
We will briefly play through the first group of songs and will focus on Mockingbird, Lord of the Rings, and Boismortier’s Allemande. bring clips to keep your music in place planning for some wind.
***Please bring your music stand, clips, music, cello, and a chair. Dr. Carter has a chair you can pick up in her studio and bring to the park if you need one.
